So before we jump in to the details regarding fashion, Dapper Day, fascinators, Mickey shaped snacks, Disney tattoos, and so much more, let's start at the beginning.  How did all this ENORMOUS love for Disney start, and where did  it come from?

Growing up in Miami, I have vivid memories of waking up on a Saturday morning in the backseat to the smell of oranges while cruising down the Florida Turnpike.  We'd already be almost halfway to Walt Disney World when I would typically wake up from the position my parents had carried me in to the car around 6 AM.  We would spend the whole day at the Magic Kingdom, riding Pirates of the Caribbean first, and capping off the night with Tinkerbell flying across the sky as the fireworks show would start.  I would tell my Dad 'when I grow up, I want to be Tinkerbell,' and I'd be lying if I said that was no longer true.

On Sundays, we would spend the day at EPCOT, where I would fall under Walter Cronkite's trance on Spaceship Earth.  I'm not sure if that ride is responsible for me wanting to be an astronaut or a news broadcaster, or both, but it had a profound effect on my childhood.

Fast forward a few decades, and although I'm now a Chicagoan, I have certainly managed to keep my love for Disney, I would even say it is deeper and stronger than ever before.  Perhaps it's the crazy schedule of owning a restaurant, maybe it's being in the service industry and noticing all the levels of service they provide there, or it could be the unexplainable link between vintage fashion lovers and the Disney Parks, but that love is not going anywhere anytime soon.
